WebRTC IP test
Inspect the connection candidates your browser makes available to WebRTC, including public addresses, local addresses and mDNS names when provided.

Try againWhat the test observes
After you start the test, ABPing queries four STUN sources and collects the ICE candidates returned by your browser. Each result identifies its source, address type and candidate type.
Collection is limited in time and size. An incomplete result or a source that does not respond remains marked as such; the test cannot recover addresses that your browser hides.
Read an address difference in context
A public candidate can be compared with an observed exit of the same IP version. A difference is a reason to inspect your network setup, not proof of an IP leak.
Local addresses and mDNS names are different from public IP addresses. ICE candidate types describe how a candidate was obtained; they do not establish a NAT type or prove that a proxy is working correctly.
Check again after changing your connection
Run the test, note its sources and results, then repeat after changing a browser or network setting. Keep the IP version and test conditions in mind when comparing the observations.
STUN requests contact third-party servers, which can observe the connection reaching them. Public candidate location is looked up through ABPing using DB-IP Lite; local addresses and mDNS names are not sent for location lookup.
Common questions
Does a different WebRTC IP mean my VPN is leaking?
Not by itself. The result may reflect a different address family, route or browser policy. Check whether the candidate is public, compare it with a current exit of the same IP version, and confirm whether that path matches your intended configuration.
Does having no public candidate prove there is no leak?
No. The browser may hide candidates, WebRTC may be restricted, or a STUN source may be unreachable. The result only describes what this test could observe during that run.
